10/07/2018 Random Love Letter

I used to write letters a lot since I was a little kid. I kept a huge bag full of letters from my friends in elementary & junior high schools until I left my parents' house. I still do love writing messages and sending surprise gifts, I love going to stationary shops to buy letter sets and stickers.

I now write less but I know the power of sending letter. It is even powerful as nowadays we don't send letters anymore. We write now and then whenever we travel or send some gratitudes to specific occasions.

So I started to write a random Love Letter once a month. I just randomly pick a person in my circle and send a postcard. First 2 years or so, I didn't manage to keep the habit even though I put it in my calendar for reminder and I have loads of postcards.

Yesterday I went to post office and bought 10 stamps and airmail stickers. I bought extra 6 postcards. I put on stamps and the airmail stickers so that all I need is to actually write the address and message. The international mailing fee is 70 yen across the board (approx 63 cents!) so there's no reason not to do to make your friends/family feel happy and cared so easily.

Do you have any friends who live far away and haven't contacted for a while?

Thank you for spending your time to read this.
